Branding & Web Re-Skin
Re-brand and web site re-skin of Krusada Teamwear, a local sportswear manufacturer, to modernise their image and enable them to appeal to a wider demographic. Their previous brand concepts were a little edgy and raw which made appealing to sectors such as education that little more difficult. The re-brand looked to build on the company's traditions and heritage within the sportswear industry and open up possibilities for future growth.
The new logotype drew from the company's passion for the sport of Rugby (for which they have their own 7's team, the Krusada Knights) and was developed to make it easier to work with in the manufacturing processes of kit design. The stylisted "K" was generated to form a graphical representation of a rugby scrum and illustrate team ethic. The concept also helped to cut outgoings by saving money on the stitch count in embroidery processes.
The re-skin of the website looked to enhance usability of the site and to improve the overall experience by allowing key items on the page to breathe. The design elements were developed to work with the newly developed styling and textures found from the fabrics.
